Our first visit to Salt Lake City

Last Friday I had the opportunity to go HOME for four days, thanks to my sweet mom and sis.
We had such a great trip spending time with both of our families that I wished I could of stayed longer but it was good to return to my second HOME and be with my hubby again.

This was my first time flying solo with Raegan. I was very nervous about doing it alone, but to my astonishment my sweet little Rae did AWESOME even when our DVD player didn't work throughout the whole flight.

Rae did so good. She didn't even want to be in her stroller in the airport, so she walked all the way to the other gate that was in another building on the other side of the airport.

She is such a good girl. I'm very lucky to be her mom.

On Saturday afternoon, we had a little get together with Curt's side of the family.
It was so good to see the family. I can't believe how big our nieces and nephews have gotten. I was so happy to see everybody and Raegan was so excited to finally see her cousins...she has missed them so much.
I know it wasn't the same because Curt was not there, because we all know Curt is the life of the party at family gatherings! It was still a great time to catch up and see how everybody is doing.

Thanks Pat & Bill for getting us all together, We really appreciate it.

Grandpa Webber, Raegan and Liam playing together.

Rae and Liam still playing...She was so happy to be with her cousins

Grandpa and Grandma Webber with Rae

My family: Abuela, Rae, Chavo and Bisby

It was so good to see them and catch up on all I've been missing!

We had to make a quick trip to target and Raegan was very persistent to have her picture taken with the TARGET logo. Got to make my Rae happy.

On our way back to NC. We were very excited to finally be home and be with the hubby.

He was pretty bored for 4 whole days without his girls.

Thanks to our families for a GREAT trip. We are so lucky to have all of you.
We love you and miss you tons!

We LOVE packages!!

After our move to NC my sweet mom decided to go to Peru' for a little bit and visit family.
I think she did it to keep her busy from missing her Rae Rae so much. Well what do you know...A few weeks ago we received a huge package from her and couldn't believe how much stuff we got from her, but most of all how much stuff my sweet Rae Rae got from her abuela. She's a very lucky girl.
Rae was so excited when the mailman brought this huge box to our door. She wanted to carry it all by herself but the box was so dang heavy...Way to go mom!
My Rae was so excited, can't you tell

She didn't want Rico to take all her goodies, I don't blame her.

She got a zillion movies from my mom. She gets them from Peru' for 50 cents.
Rico trying to get the goodies.

Abuela sent her a doll/backpack and she's in LOVE with it.

All the goods. It was FABULOUS!!!
Thanks mama for the gifts. It made our day!!!

Marbles Children's Museum

In September we went to Marbles Children's Museum after our Temple day earlier in the day.
The best part of going to the museum was getting in for FREE!!
You seriously can't pass that up when you are on a student budget. We all had a great time, we also went with our friends the Richards and most of all the kiddos had a great time.

Curt putting his schools skills to work

Raegan and her friend Annie

Raegan was very proud of the car daddy made for her

Raleigh Temple

In September we had the opportunity to go to the Raleigh temple with our friends the Richards.
We had a great time going and seeing what a beautiful temple it is.
I guess not many people here get the opportunity to go to the temple very often with their spouses because of time issues, school or not having babysitters, so we feel very lucky to have found good friends that we can go to the temple with and watch each other's kiddos while we do temple work.

Raegan and dad, always looking for bugs!

Raegan and her friend Annie. They are the cutest friends, We are so lucky that Raegan has found so many cute little friends..she's a very lucky girl.

Catching up!

Well here we are alive and well. Everything is still going good here in the Webber household.
Curt is doing great in school...very busy, but good. Raegan is loving preschool and her new little friends, and as for me I'm doing good. I'm glad the weather is much cooler and that FALL is around the corner....people keep telling me that the FALL here is BEAUTIFUL and I think they might be right. All the trees have started to change colors and I love it!!!
another thing I love about the FALL is .........NO BUGS!!! Oh, I'm a happy woman.
Enjoy the pictures....It's just a little taste of what we've been doing lately.

Since we moved we have enjoyed receiving packages from family and friends. Raegan gets so excited when there's a package on our door.

Rae got a letter from her BFF Porter in Sandy....she was so excited!!

Here is Rae opening a package for Daddy from my family...She found treats inside his new school bag! Thanks Abuela and Sis... He loves his new bag, It's so nice.

Rae found a bucket full of treats just for her. Thanks Abuela and sis.

Two weeks ago we went to our first football game of the Season. We had a great time, but it was so blasted hot!!! Too bad they lost the game as well.
My cute Rae trying to keep cool.

Dad and Raegan

Me and Raegan....and those turd heads behind us got a piece of my mind after they kept swearing about anything and everything during the game. I gave them the stare down and they moved very quickly after that! Like Curt always says, don't make a Spanish girl mad especially Carla!

Our little family
I love this little girl!!

Dad and Rae cheering for the Deacs.

For family home evening I decided to make pizzas with Raegan. She had a great time making them for us.

One of the many faces of our Rae Rae

Rae and Daddy adding the finishing touches on our pizzas. Doesn't Curt look handsome...It is so nice to see him dressed up all the time for school. It's a big change from all his paint clothes days.
I'm enjoying this change!!!

Enjoying a little snack before dinner

Our little adventures!

Once again we discovered more things to do here in Winston-Salem. Last week we had the opportunity to check out The Children's Museum right before Curt started orientation.
We had a great time with our sweet Rae Rae....she had such a great time that we ended up getting a membership (we got a great deal)
I'm pretty sure I'll be coming here pretty often in the next two years! I loved it, they have so many activities for little kids and most of all my Rae fell in love with the place . (I don't know if the membership is for me or for Rae...time will tell :)

Going SHOPPING...That's my girl!

Curt was such a great sport in playing along with Rae. She was having a BLAST!

Daddy and Rae in the Krispy Kream truck.

Daddy and Rae making some doughnuts

Rae climbing up so high.

Rae and Daddy building a train track. OH, I love em'

This is what me and Rae have been doing lately....We've been having picnics in our living room, you might ask why? Well I refuse to go outside during the day because I'm working on 16 BUG BITES!!! on my legs at the moment and I don't think I can handle ONE more. I feel so bad for the people at church that have to look at my gross legs every Sunday.
Besides my nasty legs, we've been having a great time having our indoor picnics and having some great mommy and Rae Rae time.
(Thanks for the blanket Cory....It's a great picnic blanket)

Last but not least, my hubby started Orientation last week and now he has officially started the MBA program at Wake!
Can I tell you how PROUD I am of this guy. I am so lucky to be married to such a smart hardworking guy. I'm truly blessed to have him be my partner for eternity.
Curt has made so many friends already and I couldn't be more happier for him....So many people already know him and if you know Curt he likes to be the life of the party.
Curt is enjoying every minute at school and at home. He wakes up every morning bright and early to go running with rico....If he doesn't take rico running, our turd of a dog gets really upset and sometimes gets really demanding. It's hilarious because we just ignore him!
I really enjoy taking Curt to school and picking him up because this is the only time we get to catch up on each other's days. I know as school gets going and as it gets more demanding it will get harder but one thing for sure is that my hubby deserves this moment and I get to sit back and enjoy how happy he is.
WAY TO GO BABE!

Moving and Myrtle beach

We finally made it! 18 months in the works and we are finally here. We still can't believe it, but we are really grateful to finally make it here and have a chapter in our lives close and a new one open. The trip went well and on schedule. We stayed in some shady hotels...if that's what you can call them but we still made it.
Curt and I will have some amazing memories to treasure and that we will never forget. Our patience was tested...I believe Kentucky was the one to test us or maybe don't be so trusty with the GPS.
Little by little we will make NC our home and hope that we will have a great adventure in these two years of our lives. We are tremendously grateful for family and friends that were able to come and help us. We cannot thank you enough for how much it has meant for us and how much we miss you all.
All in all we are doing well, we have a roof over our heads and most of all we have our little family here together supporting Curt in this big transition in his life. We couldn't want it any other way. I know we are supposed to be here and that new doors will open and sometimes others will close and that's part of life, but I know one thing for sure and that's that Heavenly Father wanted us to be here for a reason and now that we are here, we get to enjoy the ride.
LOVE YOU ALL :)

*BEWARE LONG POST*

Our silly Rico...he did great in the the Penske, I think he was a great companion for Curt.

Stretching after driving for 4 hours.

Taking a break with Daddy

On the road again

One of our many stops. Rae did awesome on the road.

I wanted to take a picture with every state sign we went through, but I think it only worked with 2.

My sweet mom and sister. They came along with us on this crazy drive across country, they were such troopers and I don't think we could have done it without their great help.

Our little family on the road..Don't we look exhausted!

YUMMY!!! Kansas city BBQ

Following Curt in the Penske. If you know Curt, you know he's a crazy and just to let you know that didn't change with a 26 ft. Penske.

The arch...Curt wanted me to take a picture, this is the best I could do.

On the way to take Abuela and Bisby to the Airport...she wasn't very happy.

Daddy and Rae in Myrtle Beach

Excited to go to the beach

Rae and Daddy

We were glad to find a hotel right in front of the beach. We loved it!

Tommy the Crab

Curt wanted some crab legs bad, so we found this sea food restaurant and as you can see Curt was in HEAVEN!!! I must say they weren't as bad as I thought, even Rae loved them.

Our family in front of Myrtle beach

Curt teaching Raegan how to golf....a little cheating here and there but she did great.

Look at that cheesy Rae Rae.

Me and my Rae Rae
The hubby and me......don't I look wonderful!!! oh the humidity.

This was my pride and joy...this is the 19Th hole in the golf course. If you make it you get a lifetime pass to Minotaur golf course. Well guess what I MADE IT!!! I wasn't even serious about the whole golf thing, but I made it.
So if you go to Myrtle beach and you decide to go to the Minotaur golf you will find a picture of me and my little family up on the wall. ( I think Curt still doesn't believe it )
Sorry for having such a long post. I will do better now that I have a sweet camera and I can post more often.
